Magda is a strategist specialising in wellbeing and resilience, with a focus on protecting civil society and human rights defenders.
Her work centres on cybersecurity, organisational psychology and coaching. At Araminta, she leads the Protection Team and is responsible for issues related to security, operational capacity and psychosocial stress in high-risk working environments.
Prior to joining Araminta, Magda spent over 20 years at the Open Society Foundations. During this time, she worked with civil society organisations and activists around the world, providing support on security management, organisational practices and coping with stress and pressure.
Over the past decade, her work has focused on supporting human rights defenders and building networks that strengthen civil society engagement and safety. She is a co-founder of the Mokuteki Coaching Programme, which focuses on burnout prevention for human rights activists in Ukraine.
Magda holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Gdańsk and a Master of Science in Nationalism Studies from the Central European University in Budapest.
